Al Asmakh Real Estate Development and the US-based Paramount Hotels and Resorts have announced plans to build the first Hollywood-inspired residential tower in Qatar, located at The Pearl.
Fadi Barakeh, general manager of the Qatari developer, said that the upscale residential project – known as Paramount Residences Doha, The Pearl – would be ready to open by the fourth quarter of 2018, a report in Gulf Times said.
“This project is the first of its kind in The Pearl-Qatar, making it the next destination in the country. This is going to be the future of residential luxury,” Barakeh said, adding that the residential project will consist of 196 units comprising of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including four ‘elite’ duplex units.
The amenities include signature elements and features from Paramount Hotel and Resorts, including the ‘California-inspired pool deck’, work-play suites, a coffee shop, screening room, fitness centre and a ‘Kid’s Studio Club’.
Residents will have access to the island’s waterfront, food and beverage outlets and entertainment options, the developer added in a statement.
“We are honoured to host the first Paramount-branded real estate development in Qatar as it can only help elevate the country’s reputation as an international destination and The Pearl-Qatar seems a natural fit for such a prestigious project,” Barakeh said.
“The hotels, resorts and residences produced by Paramount Hotels and Resorts will be developed using the creative process honed over Paramount’s 100-year history,” said Thomas van Vliet, CEO of Paramount Hotels and Resorts.
“Warm service, design, entertainment, food, beverage and spa concepts will combine magically to mark a new chapter for the brand and to set a rare standard in luxury residential projects.”
