Qatar Tourism, the regulatory authority for the tourism sector in the Gulf nation, is celebrating World Tourism Day 2024 with the theme ‘Tourism and Peace.’ This celebration emphasizes the crucial role of tourism in promoting peace, fostering understanding between nations and cultures, and supporting reconciliation efforts.
The event, held at Heenat Salma Farm, was attended by senior staff members from Qatar Tourism and Visit Qatar, along with local and regional media representatives. Participants enjoyed various cultural workshops during the event.
As part of the celebration, the Education and Awareness Department of the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum hosted an art workshop titled “Sport in Global Paintings.” The workshop blended art and sports, showcasing the cultural significance of sports on a global scale.
The event also provided attendees with opportunities to network and engage in meaningful discussions.
