HE Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism, highlighted the sector’s critical role in driving sustainable growth and contributing to Qatar’s National Vision 2030. He underscored the commitment to improving tourism infrastructure and fostering private sector engagement to enhance tourism activities.
Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, reiterated the organization’s goal of positioning Qatar as a top global tourist destination. The newly launched “Surprise Yourself” campaign aims to draw international visitors by promoting the country’s distinctive experiences.
Future initiatives will emphasize stopover promotions and regional outreach, inviting travelers to discover Qatar’s rich cultural heritage and expanding list of attractions. The upcoming winter season will feature a packed schedule of events, including the return of Formula One, high-profile concerts, and world-class exhibitions.
Visit Qatar is also enhancing its digital platforms, including the revamped Qatar Calendar, to provide a comprehensive guide to the country’s diverse cultural, sporting, and entertainment offerings, ensuring visitors have a year-round array of experiences.
