Qatar’s health expenditure is forecasted to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.6%, reaching approximately $12.8 billion by 2029, according to BMI.
“We have revised our forecast upward and now project a CAGR of 13.6% for health expenditure between 2024 and 2029,” the report stated.
Government spending is expected to constitute 81.1% of the total health expenditure by the end of the forecast period.
For 2025, Qatar has allocated $6 billion to healthcare, a 4.6% increase from 2024, representing 10.5% of the total national budget.
