Qatar Chamber yesterday held two separate meetings with business delegations from the Republic of Ethiopia and New Zealand, wherein trade opportunities and economic cooperation between Qatar’s private sector and the private sectors of both Ethiopia and New Zealand have been reviewed.
The meeting with the Ethiopian delegation included visual presentations highlighting the various investment opportunities available in Ethiopia within a large number of sectors, especially in industrial, tourism, agriculture, and others, QNA reports.
The Qatari businesspersons were also introduced to the opportunities offered by companies from New Zealand and were encouraged to cooperate in promising investment fields in the country, including agriculture, technology, and others.
Qatar Chamber’s Assistant Director-General for Government Relations and Committee Affairs Ali bu Sherbak Al Mansouri said both meetings were attended by several businesspersons to explore cooperation opportunities and establish bilateral projects, especially in light of the need for major projects in Qatar to be implemented in the future through partnerships and cooperation in various sectors.
Al Mansouri emphasized that the companies wishing to enter the Qatari market have promising and important opportunities, noting that it is useful for Qatari businesspersons to enter with external partners in implementing projects in all sectors, especially in the infrastructure and technology sectors.
