Founded in 1972 in Lebanon, Sakr Power Group is a group of companies specialized in power generation, with a scope of services covering the manufacturing, sales and rental of power generating sets and the implementation of turnkey power projects.
Sakr Power Generation are displaying generators ranging from 50 to 2000 KVA in two separate stands of 108 sqm and 30 sqm in the outdoor space of Energy Lebanon 2013 and Project Lebanon 2013.
“All Sakr generators are assembled in our factories in Lebanon” said Michella Rahmeh, the Group Marketing Director. “Our generators differ from the other locally assembled ones because of the quality of the assemblage andthe technology used that make Sakr products more suited to Lebanese conditions like not getting effected by the kind of diesel used and can run on a variety of fuel types such as diesel, gas, heavy fuel oil, dual fuel and vegetable oil,” explained Rahmeh. “Yet, our gensets consume 30% less diesel compared to other brands,” she added.
Sakr Power Group has developed operations in most countries in the region in addition to some European countries. “We are also involved in developing and installing power plants ranging from 1MW to 100MW. We have installed such plants in Beirut Port but our main operations are in Iraq, though we have clients in Nigeria, India and Dubai,” said Rahmeh.
