Saudi Arabia is set to implement nearly 18,000 projects in the coming years as part of its ambitious Vision 2030 economic transformation plan, according to the Saudi Contractors’ Authority (SCA).
Valued in the trillions of riyals, these projects span multiple sectors, including infrastructure, roads, power, and airports, said SCA Chairman Mohammed Al-Ajlan.
“The construction sector in Saudi Arabia is experiencing a golden era, with projected annual growth of 5% until 2030,” Al-Ajlan told Al-Madina newspaper.
He noted a growing influx of foreign companies into the Saudi market, drawn by the surge in large-scale domestic projects. “The market now requires strategic partnerships with international firms, as some projects demand specialized expertise and advanced foreign technology,” he added.
