The Saudi construction market is set to scale greater heights with a projected growth rate of 35 per cent over the next three years. With the total value of projects planned or underway in KSA currently estimated at $732 billion, the sector is poised to become the fastest-growing in the Kingdom’s economy by 2015.
To propel this growth and promote sustainable development, Saudi Build 2013 – the 25th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition in its silver anniversary will showcase industry-specific advanced services and solutions. Commencing on November 4, 2013 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC), it will host 850 companies from 35 countries.
Organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) and running till November 7th, Saudi Build 2013 will see participating companies from Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, the UK, and the USA, to name a few. Moreover, the event will feature many high-profile, professional visitors; present latest offerings in Building Materials & Equipment, Architectural Finishing Products, Construction Tools & Technology, Engineering Services, Security & Safety Systems, among others; and offer comprehensive business and technology solutions for real estate contractors, agents and developers.
Zeyad Al Rukban, Deputy General Manager, Riyadh Exhibitions Company, said: “Driven by increasing private and public investments in 2013, we are witnessing a definitive surge in construction projects in Saudi Arabia – particularly in the fields of social and transport infrastructure. This presents a very lucrative opportunity for contractors and investors.”
“This year’s event has been tailored not just to mark our 25th anniversary, but also to provide all the stakeholders the full range of building solutions and the opportunity to access the Saudi and regional construction markets. We hope to further reinforce our status as the focal point for the country’s thriving and diversifying construction market and spur sustainable growth,” added Al Rukban.
In recent years, Saudi Build 2013 has added key components including Saudi Build – The PMV Series 2013 – The 3rd International Exhibition for Construction Equipment, Plant, Machinery and Vehicle; and Saudi Stone-Tech – The 16th International Stone and Stone Technology & Machinery Exhibition. Held concurrently with Saudi Build, these events ensure that trade visitors are able to source all their project needs at one prime location.
Saudi Build remains the only construction trade show in Saudi Arabia accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Since its inception 25 years ago, Saudi Build has earned a reputation as a reliable partner for expansion in the Saudi construction market. Today it attracts companies from across the globe, ensuring a meeting place for industry professionals, and offering a comprehensive set of solutions covering all aspects of the construction industry.
