Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry, the undersecretary of the industry affaris, Eng. Saleh Al Salmi opened yesterday (Sunday, March 1, 2015) Saudi Plastic & Petrochem 2015 and Saudi Print & Pack 2015. The shows were inaugurated in the presence and participation of a number of government dignitaries, businessmen, and specialists as well as more than 300 local and international exhibitors from 19 countries. The two events will run until March 3, 2015 at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events.
Eng. Saleh Al Salmi said: “Saudi Plastic & Petrochem 2015 and Saudi Print & Pack 2015 will highlight the industrial and commercial boom that the cities of the Western Region are currently witnessing in these four key sectors. The two events will offer an ideal platform to build new business relationships and nurture existing ones, discuss the industrial sector’s latest trends, and discover opportunities available in the KSA and other countries in the region. The shows’ format ensures that the participants stay abreast with the growing demand for the latest products, solutions and cutting-edge technologies in the industry.”
Saudi Plastic & Petrochem 2015 will focus on a wide range of products, including raw materials, basic chemicals, primary compounds, plastic injection systems, molding and forming molds, medical products, and plastic tubing, among other advanced products. On the other hand, Saudi Print & Pack 2015 will throw the spotlight on various leading products such as prepress equipments, stitching machines, polishing machines, cutting machines, prepress programs, direct digital printing and techniques, silk screen printing technology, audit machines, and paper and printing supplies, in addition to many other printing technologies.
