Covering an area of 2.4 million square meters Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC), will be the largest health care facility in the UAE when it opens early next year, according to a senior official from Sharjah government.
The official said the new health facility will be built on Al Dhaid Road near Sharjah University City to offer services to people from all over the world.
With the objective to transform and enhance the regional healthcare service industry and establish Sharjah as the destination for healthcare services His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah ordered the building of SHCC, said Abdullah Ali Al Mohaian, Chairman, Sharjah Health Authority and Member of Sharjah Executive Council.
According to Al Mohaian, the building of SHCC creates a perfect solution for the ever growing needs of the healthcare and allied services in the region.
Al Mohaian said Dr Shaikh Sultan issued a decree to build SHCC which will be a comprehensive health care complex with high standards and quality.
