Sinoma International Engineering announced that Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry, a wholly-owned subsidiary, has signed a turnkey contract of six clinker cement production lines with the Equipment Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Contracted value reached EUR 1.05 billion ($1.18 billion).
The project includes design, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of the six production lines with a one-day output of 6,000 tons.
Moreover, the company will provide three-year operation and maintenance of two 5,775 tpd cement production lines of Phase II of GOE ARISH and the six Beni Suef cement production lines under the contract.
