The Wadi Al Mawil Souq Project is over 90% complete, while the Al Wabi Souq has reached 70% completion, marking significant progress in Oman’s efforts to enhance services, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen the local economy.
The Al Awabi Souq, spanning 1,200 square meters, will feature 16 commercial stores and serve as a modern trading hub to boost economic activity in the wilayat. With 70% of the construction already completed, the project is advancing rapidly.
Meanwhile, the Wadi Al Mawil Souq, covering 1,800 square meters, will include 27 commercial stores and is 92% complete. Both souqs are designed to offer a range of amenities, including coffee shops, mosques, parking spaces, open seating areas, and landscaped spaces, catering to the needs of shoppers and visitors.
These projects highlight the South Al Batinah Governorate’s commitment to developing souqs across its wilayats. Once completed, the two souqs are expected to generate new investment opportunities, further contributing to the region’s economic growth.
