Established by Walid Daniel, SPAN started its operations in 1989. The growth of the SPAN Group has been staggered over the years, starting with the import of racking solutions from Europe and North America, followed by the launch of a design and customer service unit that helps businesses to incorporate the most suitable warehouse layouts. In the early nineties, this portfolio was expanded to include light material handling equipment, storage solution, forklift trucks, dock levelers, packing equipment, carton sealing, strapping and stretch wrapping machines, while warehouse management systems and barcoding were also incorporated into a new IT division in the mid-nineties.
“SPAN is a company that believes in localizing, learning and adopting the latest in supply chain worldwide practices in order to ensure that each and every client benefits from these innovations,” said Fadi Hajjar, Sales Manager of the company. “Bassoul Heneine, Fattal, Mersaco, Landmark and Malco are among the projects our company has executed,” added Hajjar.
SPAN is showcasing warehouse equipment at Project Lebanon 2014. “Project Lebanon is an opportunity to encounter new potential clients and salute the existing ones, and as such we always had a positive feedback,” noted Hajjar.
