Advanced Conferences & Meetings (ACM) in collaboration with the local partner XS Conferences & Exhibitions proudly launched Future Landscape & Public Realm KSA seminar at the Mövenpick Hotel Riaydh.
The seminar started with the chairman Abdulrahman Gazzaz welcome and opening remarks followed by Hrvoje Cindric presentation on smart city and the opportunity for a new public realm.
Dr. Hazem Sabbagh delivered a presentation on ecological design narratives: Vision(s) of urbanism & landscape in the western provinces whilst Adnan Ahmed detailed a presentation titled “Architectural landscape lighting concepts”.
Other interesting presentations included “value creation through landscape design” by Hani Bisada, “the value of universal design to increasing inclusion throughout park and play spaces” by David Smith and “porcelain stoneware: an innovative solution for outdoor and landscaping applications” presented by Davide Corsini.
John Rice from Arcadis delivered a great presentation “Walkable Cities: Living streets” before the beginning of the panel discussion on how can public landscaping fit into planned economic cities. The panel discussion brought together Hrvoje Cindric, Hani Bisada, John Rice, Dr. Hazem Sabbagh and Eng. Ahmed El Sherbieny.
The seminar included a networking lunch that brought together all attendees, speakers and sponsors in a professional friendly atmosphere.
The first day of Future Landscape & Public Realm KSA seminar created the perfect platform for the attendees to build relations, exchange ideas and seize business opportunities throughout the ACMi+ interface that allowed for many networking breaks which created a dynamic, efficient and relevant learning environment.

Day two (April 26) of the seminar featured many more interesting presentations, to name a few: Redefining public space: Temporary vs. permanent, case study on planning the city and its realm, best practice session about outdoor public open spaces and well-being and many more.
