For the second year in a row, Consulate General of the United States in Erbil takes part in Erbil International Fair which runs from September 23-26, 2013.
The US Consul General in Erbil Joseph Pennington participated in the opening of the fair on September 23, 2013.
Talking about the consulate’s participation, Pennington said that the United States welcomes this opportunity to interact with the visitors from across Iraq and abroad and discuss the opportunities that exist in business, travel and educational sectors.
"Today we are honored to attend the opening of this exhibition, which clearly shows the enormous economic potentials that exist in the Kurdistan region of Iraq,” said Pennington.“Representatives of the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) at the Consulate will have daily presence in the exhibition from 23 to 26, to provide all information needed about the U.S. that could facilitate trade between the U.S and Iraq.
