UAE-based Sheikh Zayed Housing Program has given approval for the launch of engineering consultancy tenders for the construction of a 250-unit residential neighborhood at Khor Fakkan in Sharjah’s Eastern Region.
The decision came at the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program’s board meeting which saw the board members approve 1,000 decisions to support housing, to mark Ramadan and as part of its housing program in 2019, said a statement from SZHP.
Every housing unit of the residential neighborhood, located in Al Owainat area off Khor Fakkan, will have an estimated area of 360 sq m, with three to four bedrooms each that could be expanded in the future.
The housing project is estimated to cost between Dh800 million to Dh1 billion ($218 million to $272 million) and is likely to be completed by the end of 2022, it stated.
The winning group will provide the planning, design and supervision services for the project, it added.
