The Family Consulting Center (Wifaq), operating under the Qatar Social Work Foundation and affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA), a Qatar Foundation member. This partnership aims to provide holistic support to families managing diabetes-related challenges, emphasizing social and psychological well-being.
The agreement aligns with the observance of World Diabetes Day in November, which this year focuses on the theme of “Diabetes and Well-Being.” This theme underscores the importance of addressing the mental health and family dynamics of individuals living with diabetes, integrating psychological support into comprehensive care strategies.
Partnership Goals
